This is pretty ill, a look into a South African town pre-World Cup.  SMH at the school who had only 2 teachers out of 10 show up in the classrooms on the day ESPN cameras were there.  You gotta be more on point than that hahaha 2 out of 10!!

Nike Unveils World Cup Kits

Nike have finally shown us their national teams' kits for South Africa at the Battersea Power Station in London yesterday.  Looks like even Nike's going green, as the shirts are made from recycled polyester and plastic bottles.  

From left to right: Slovenia's Robert Koren, Australia's Vince Grella, U.S.A.'s Clint Dempsey, Portugal's Nani, Brazil's Pato, the Netherlands' Edson Braafheid, South Korea's Chung-Yong Lee, New Zealand's Ryan Nelson, and Serbia's Nenad Milijas.

Davies on track for South Africa

A crash that splits a SUV in two maybe be enough for mere mortals to take some time off, but not Charlie Davies. After being in a car crash on Oct 13 of last year and suffering from broken right femur and tibia, a broken left elbow, facial fractures and a lacerated bladder, Davies is already jogging. He plans to be back on the practice field for Sochaux by the end of Feburary.
"The World Cup is easy for me to be back for," said Davies. "I want to get back to France, and I don't want to just get back -- I want to be good." This is good news for the US team. He and Jozy had great chemistry up front during the Confederations Cup, and hopefully we can see some more of that this summer.
