NBA Playoffs
Here at Confessions, we love our soccer, but we're also passionate about the NBA. 16 teams, 1 goal. Here's what the first round will look like:
East
Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Chicago Bulls
Orlando Magic vs. Charlotte Bobcats
Atlanta Hawks vs. Milwaukee Bucks
Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat
West
Los Angeles Lakers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
Dallas Mavericks vs. San Antonio Spurs
Phoenix Suns vs. Portland Trailblazers
Denver Nuggets vs. Utah Jazz
These first round matchups prove why the NBA is one of the best, most competitive leagues in the world. All of these matchups are really good. Kobe takes on this year's scoring champ, and the youngest of all time Kevin Durant. My favorite series are Hawks vs. Bucks and Mavs vs. Spurs. We'll see if the Celtics can transform into the playoff team they are supposed to be for atleast a round or two. I like the way the Suns and Magic are playing heading in, but the Lakers and Cavs will be tough to take down. I'd love to see a Nuggets/Celtics finals but that's being too wishful. The Lakers will probably be there with Orlando.

LeBron Switching His Number
LeBron James has submitted a request for a number change to the NBA. He wants to stop using Michael Jordan's infamous number 23 out of respect to "His Airness." He has even suggested that Comissioner David Stern retire the number for the entire league.
The controversy here lies in the number LeBron wants to switch to. The number 6 is his USA team number, however it happens to be the number of another NBA great and former Celtic Bill Russell. It is understood that Jordan is arguably the greatest player in the modern game, and LeBron probably grew up idolizing him. But if he wants to respect a great NBA champion, perhaps he should request 6 be retired as well.
Jordan Russell
NBA Seasons 15 13
NBA Titles 6 11
League MVP 5 5
Total Games 1,072 963
All-Star Games 14 12
Who's number should really be retired league-wide?
