Today's Round of 16 Games
Lyon X Real Madrid - Today 2:45PM ET
Cristiano Ronaldo has 6 goals in this 2009/2010 Champions League so far. Real Madrid look strong coming off a 3-0 victory over Xerez. Meanwhile Lyon have defeated Madrid in their two previous visits to France. Also we'll see Karim Benzema square off against his former love for the first time since departing the 7-time French champions over the summer. I think we see yet another Lyon victory against "Los Blancos." Lyon takes this one 2-1, goals from Pjanic and Lisandro.
AC Milan X Manchester United - Today 2:45PM ET
The Red Devils travel to Italy for the 1st leg of their battle for Europe. The two teams both sit in 2nd place domestically and are challenging leaders Chelsea and Inter Milan for the titles. Beckham also is going to face his former club for the first time in a while. Should be an interesting leg, but I predict a 1-1 draw in the Guiseppe Meazza today.
Tomorrow's Round of 16 Games
Bayern Munich X Fiorentina - Wednesday 2:45PM ET
The Italians visit the Allainz Arena to face off against Bundesliga giants Bayern. Although they are playing well, the Germans sit tied for 1st with Leverkusen in their country's competition. Fiorentina will be without their top-scorer of the tournament Adrien Mutu who failed a drug test. I do believe the "Violas" can hold a decent result here and make it a one goal game. Bayern 1 -0.
FC Porto X Arsenal - Wednesday 2:45PM ET
Struggling FC Porto face off against the Premiere League's 3rd place Arsenal. These two clubs have a history in the Champions League. Arsenal eliminated them in 2006 on the same stage. Porto plays well at home, therefore I say they hang on 0-0 at Dragao.
