JT Will Hand In Armband

ESPN's Soccernet is reporting that John Terry will step down as captain of England's national squad later in the week, due to his fling with smokeshow Vanessa Perroncel. At first I thought this was Terry's best option, as it is difficult to lead someone who probably won't respect you anymore.  But then I found Vanessa has been linked with a plethera of other Chelsea players, including Adrian Mutu, Eidur Gudjhonsen, and of course Wayne Bridge.  There is also another mystery Chelsea player that is yet to be named in the scandal.[link]

What do you think about John Terry/Fabio Capello's decision to name a new captain?  Is it not just adding more publicity to the situation?  I mean if your wifey runs through the whole team you are playing at, it's kind of stupid to be angry with the players, right?  Let me know what you guys think.
