Eddie and Freddy working their Aris off!

Greek title hopefuls Aris Thessaloniki suffered a defeat over the weekend by Xanthi, but let's look at the bright side. Americans Eddie Johnson and Freddy Adu played important roles in Aris' "loan" goal. It was Johnson's second game with his new team and Adu's first. Freddy played a beautiful ball into Eddie, who megged the goalie and slid it into the bad of the net.

Aris signed both Americans on loan during the January transfer window. Eddie Johnson came over from Fulham in the EPL and Freddy Adu came over from Benfica from Liga Sarges.
